Interested in working together?

Send us your project details via email at hello@nectarliterary.com. See our brief FAQ below for helpful information when reaching out. Generally, it’s best to connect a minimum of 4 months before a book’s on sale date or the festival/major event’s date—6+ months in advance is ideal and gives us a better chance of working together.

Who Hires Nectar?

Publishers and authors who need support on book publicity campaigns—media outreach for review coverage, preview lists, feature/interview pitches, help placing excerpts, help pitching original essays, op-eds, and other pieces related to boasting the author and their book’s visibility. We can also set up book tours and have relationships with indie bookstores and author venues throughout the US. Please note that we do not currently work on self-published books.

Cultural organizations hosting large-scale events like book festivals, fundraising galas, and/or looking to review, clarify, and boost their messaging.

What initial materials or information is helpful to share?

If you’re connecting about book promotion, please include a brief description, author or editor bio, expected publication date, any blurbs or early praise, and name of your publishing house. If you have the book cover and an excerpt from the manuscript to share, great!

If you’re connecting about event promotion or communications consulting, let us know about your organization and timeline.

We’d love to hear your goals and your budget! What can we work toward together?

Anything else?

All of our client’s needs are a little different, and we shape each campaign to help meet their various goals. If it seems like we’ll be a good fit and our schedule allows, we’ll create a project outline and contract for all to review and sign off on. Most of our projects are on a project based fee and last 4+ months.

Collaboration is extremely important to us. If you are an author looking for extra support, we will happily work in tandem with your publisher’s team to make sure we are communicating, coordinating, and sharing in ways that add value to their efforts.
